Director Shankar says that his team worked very hard for the success of the film I but unfortunately the film has failed to keep the expectations.

“We take all care while making big movies. I have tried to experiment every single time I wanted to put across a message. I and my team worked for a full two years on the film and we have looked into every minute detail. I don’t think the result of ‘I’ will impact the results of my films in future. However, as always, I will continue to make films that the audiences will like,” says Shankar.
