Darsakendrudu Raghavendra Rao was felicitated with 'Vishwa Vikhyatha Darshaka Brahma' award in Vizag for his priceless contribution to the Telugu Cinema. He was also given a 'Swarna Kankanam'.  

Chiranjeevi who attended as Chief Guest praised K Raghavendra Rao sky high. He recalled his association with the veteran filmmaker since the past 3 decades and lauded his creativity.

The felicitation ceremony was organised by Subbi Rami Reddy Kalapeetham. Subbi Rami Reddy always stood forefront when it comes to giving due respect to the artists and doesn't mind going out of his way to show his liking for the achievers. It was because of this reason he commands good respect from the bigwigs in the Film Industry.
