Actress Soha Ali Khan who was given heirloom jewellery by mother Sharmila Tagore wasn’t the only one who got ancestral ornaments on her wedding.

Sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor was also gifted an heirloom ring, by her elder sister Karisma. It is already known that both Karisma and Kareena are very close to each other, and the latter decided to use the occasion to gift her baby sister something that was close to her heart.

It was a ring that their grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor had gifted her around two decades ago. Both Kareena and Saif have been with Karisma during her tough times, so this was probably her way of showing her appreciation.

At present, Kareena is busy shooting for Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’. The film also features Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in key roles.
