On one of the biggest days of his career, director Krish has pulled off a stunner in Bollywood. The director's debt Hindi film, Gabbar Is Back, has been released all over to packed houses. Even most critics and film buffs seem to have got connected to the film's social message.
The 1st day shows are coming to an end and trade analysts have estimated that the film has opened for a record 85% or even more across the theaters in India. This is being considered a record so far for any Bollywood film released in 2015. The occupancy is surprisingly high in single screens and even multiplexes are holding good.
Gabbar Is Back is a film on corruption in government offices and the audiences seem to have identified themselves with the film's socially relevant theme. Even the reviews have been positive and this will result in massive weekend collections with families thronging to the theaters. Well, looks like Krish has made a dreamy debut in Bollywood shores and his next project will be decided based on the success range of this film.
