Finally speaking for the first time about his tumultuous journey with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh 2, the writer-director Sampath Nandi said that the reason behind his exit from the long delayed project was a few unavoidable situations and not persons. Sampath also laughed off the media reports about his exit and said that he cherishes the experiences while working for Gabbar Singh 2.
Speaking about his relationship with Powerstar, Sampath said that he still maintains cordial friendship with Pawan Kalyan and that the only distance between both of them is just a phone call. Not stopping here, Sampath exuded confidence in directing the Powerstar very soon and that even Pawan is quite willing for their future association.
Praising Chiru for giving him the opportunity to direct Ram Charan's Rachcha, Sampath said that he is forever indebted to the Mega family. The writer director also denied the rumours that his current film, Bengal Tiger, is based on Gabbar Singh 2' script. Claiming that the script is completely different, Sampath said that he is using a couple of fight sequences he coined for Gabbar Singh 2.
