Police Case filed Against Mukunda Movie

27th December, 2014 11:04am     Tollywood      Comments
ow it seems far common witnessing the movies or programs being targeted by caste and religion based notions. Recently Jabardasth comedian Venu was brutally attacked when he was believed to have riled the Goud community, and the movie Linga also got the similar heat from Bhatraju community in Tamil Nadu when it released few days ago.

And now finally here comes all the danger and criticism against the newly released movie “Mukunda” as the Yadava community has finally lodged a complaint with the police against the movie. Some of the Yadava community members in Sirisilla registered a complaint against the producers Nallamalupu Bujji, Tagore Madhu and director Srikanth Addala alleging that they had devalued their community in the movie.

They alleged the movie hurt the sentiments of Yadava community by portraying the hero, heroine and villain as the worshippers of Lord Sri Krishna. They also demanded an immediate apology and removing of such controversial portions in the film. However, the makers of the movie have not yet responded over this issue.
