Ace director Rajamouli always takes it to social circuits to express his opinions straight forwardly. This time he made another strong statement in a simple sentence at the yesterday announced Padma Awards by government of India on the eve of 66th Republic Day.
Expressing his happiness for veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao being conferred with Padma Sri award, Rajamouli wished him, but he has another pain to share. "I'm happy that Kota Srinivasa Rao has received Padma award, but quite unhappy for cine icon Mullapudi Venkata Ramana not being conferred yet", said Rajamouli, through his social site. (Kota Srinivasarao gari ki Padma Puraskaram labinchadam Santosham... Ippatiki Mullapudi Venkataramana gari ki Raakapovadam Baadhaakaram(sic)).
Probably the Ramana of Bapu-Ramana duo should have gotten the award long back for the kind of stories, screenplay and books he has written. All his works for Bapu's movies are a history written in golden words. Rajamouli's pain is genuine!
