His menacing looks and terrifying performance added with a baritone voice in Eega thrilled everyone in a villainous role. He is none other than Kicha Sudeep. The Kannada mass star now seems to be in love with Telugu blockbusters. After successfully remaking the hit films like Mirchi and Atharintiki Dharedhi, Sudeep is all set to remake yet another Telugu blockbuster.
According to the latest buzz in Sandalwood circles, Sudeep is now set to remake Raviteja's superhit film, Balupu. Balupu was directed by Gopichand Malineni and the film gave a fresh lease of life to Raviteja's plummeting career. Popular Kannada producer N Kumar was in Hyderabad recently to seal the remake deal with PVP, who produced the Telugu version.
Icing on the cake is that Sudeep himself will be directing this film, apart from acting in it. 'Kicha' earlier acted in and directed the remakes of Vikramarkudu and Mirchi. Sudeep's recent release Ranna, a remake of Atharintiki Dharedhi, is running to packed houses and record collections. The film will be launched on September 2nd, on Sudeep's birthday. Senior Kannada actor-director Ravichandran will reprise Prakash Raj's role.
