The influence 'The Godfather' novel and movie series have on Ram Gopal Varma is well known. The director openly admitted on many occasions that he has used the scenes and dialogues from 'The Godfather' for his movies.

His super hit films like 'Gaayam', 'Sarkar' and 'Rowdy' were inspired by 'The Godfather'. He is currently doing a film with Manchu Manoj in the lead. Sources say that this film is a sequel for 'The Godfather III'. RGV has conceived the story, by imagining how a sequel for the 'The Godfather III' would be.

The title of the film is said to be not 'Golusu' as being speculated and the team is considering 'Attack' for the movie. Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu and Naveen Vadde will be seen as brothers and Prakash Raj as their father in the movie. 'Beeruva' fame Surabhi is playing the leading lady opposite Manoj.

This is the first time Manchu Manoj is working with RGV and he is said to be very excited about the project.More details are awaited.
