Saif Ali Khan has been roped in for a crime thriller which is the adaptation of crime novel ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. According to the latest buzz, Saif will be romancing his Race 2 co-star Jacqueline Fernandez in this film. A source says that, the Kick actress has recently heard the script and was impressed with it. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made by the producers.

This novel depicts a story where an abusive husband is killed by his ex-wife and daughter. Even though the body is disposed with the help of a neighbor, police discovers the body and the investigation begins. This novel has already been made into films in Japanese and Korean. Balaji Telefilms has acquired the rights of this novel written by Keigo Higashino. ‘Kahanni’ fame Sujoy Ghosh will be helming this film. Keep watching this space for more details on this project.
