While whole media is abuzz with the news of injunction order by City Civil Court of Hyderabad against actress Shruti Haasan to not to sign any other films until court`s further notice, finally, Shruti's spokersperson has responded on the issue. In a statement, Shruti's spokesperson stated, 'Neither Shruti nor Rajkamal films International nor her team have received any legal notice or injunction order from anyone.' However, the Gabbar Singh actress continue to remain tight-lipped on the issue and even her spokesperson hasn't commented anything on the matter, production house owned by PVP.
Picture House Media Pvt Ltd has earlier approached City Civil Court of Hyderabad against Shruti Haasan alleging that the actress breached their agreement. According to the production house, Shruti entered into an agreement with the company to act in their upcoming film directed by Vamsi Paidipally which has Nagarjuna, Karthi and Taapsee in the lead roles. Shruti allegedly violated obligations in the contract and tried to walk out of the project citing dates issues in the last minute costing crores of loss to production house which already completed the shooting of the film's first schedule.
'More than money, it's the loss of time and reputation that hurt us more. In order to ensure that such unprofessional acts are not repeated in future, we initiated Civil and Criminal proceedings against Shruti Haasan,' said a representative of Picture House Media Ltd in a statement.
It is learnt that XXV Additional Chief Judge of City Civil Court, Hyderabad issued an interim injunction order restraining Shruti Haasan from accepting any other assignment to act in a feature film before completing the shooting for the film being produced by the Picture House Media Ltd.
