Ever since Akhil Akkineni's launch movie is announced, several names have been doing the rounds for the film's female lead. At first it was Sridevi's daughter Jahnvai, followed by Alia Bhatt and later Bollywood actress Amyra Dastur's name popped up. Although nothing has been confirmed so far, the latest name in the list includes Athiya Shetty.

Athiya Shetty, daughter of Sunil Shetty, is apparently being considered for Akhil's debut movie. Since Athiya hasn't made her debut and she was also looking for right movie, it's learnt that Athiya is keen to foray into Telugu film industry. We hear that director VV Vinayak too is keen on Athiya as her looks are matching Akhil.

Jointly produced by Nithiin and Sudarshan Reddy, the movie is yet to get its title. The movie is surrounded by huge hype and high expectations as it marks the launch of son of Nagarjuna and Amala. Although Akhil was seen in a cameo in Akkineni multi-starrer Manam, this is going to be his full-fledged debut. Certainly, all eyes are on the girl who will be pairing up with Akhil.
