The strong buzz doing the rounds in Film Nagar is that there is a "surprise element" in Mahesh Babu's forthcoming film directed by Koratala Siva. While the makers are keeping the surprise thing under the wraps, rumour mill is abuzz that a budding hero has been cast in the film. The hero in question is none other than Rahul Ravindran of Andala Rakshasi fame.

Apparently, Rahul is playing a pivotal role in the film alongside Mahesh. Writer-turned-director Koratala has cast in Rahul for significant role. This is first-time Rahul bagged a big-budget project.

"Although Rahul is good looking and has acting ability, he failed to taste commercial success. If this film works, it might open new doors for Rahul,"shared a source in the know. Rahul married to singer Chinmayi Sripada last year.
