Tollywood Comments
Actress Radhika Apte is all over news for ridiculing Telugu film industry sometime back. Amidst these discussions, suddenly her video interview of 'Lion' surfaced everywhere, and that is wondering audience now, as it insists that she had no issues with TFI.
Talking about her experience with 'Lion', Radhika Apte says, 'I've literally done what Balayya has showed me. He helped me get my lines right and then helped with other stuff too', indicating that Balayya is her guide here in commercial Telugu cinema.
'I've not done lot of commercial cinema before. It's a great learning experience to work in Tollywood. Film culture here is different from Bombay. Telugu people accept non-Telugu actors with honesty and that's great', she asserts. One wonders if she has given this interview during her shooting days of 'Lion' or recently. Because she shot to headlines a couple of weeks back after literally nailing Tollywood for a chauvinistic society.
What about producers?- 'I've not interacted very much with the producers, but they are doing good job. The film is coming out nice', Radhika said. Then why did she sound complete different in media?
We found that this interview was taken way back in March 2015 though its released to media only in May 2015. That means something has happened afterwards she finished her work on 'Lion' including recording TV interviews.
