Of late, filmmakers are not shying away from publicly lashing out at certain media houses that have been irking them with scathing reviews. Couple of days ago, the director and the hero of last week's release, Tippu, organized a press meet to condemn the unjust negative reviews for their film. Today, it's the turn of Sindhura Puvvu Krishna Reddy to openly criticize a media house in a press meet.
The producer, whose film Vinavayya Ramayya was severely panned by a particular media house, criticized the review in turn and said that if media has the right to criticize his film, he has a right to criticize its reviews. The producer also alleged that the particular channel and its news paper have been blackmailing him for ads since he belongs to the newly formed Limited Liability Producers (LLP) syndicate that stopped giving publicity material to select media houses.
Krishna Reddy further stated that even though he did not give any ads to other media houses, they showed restraint and wrote sensible reviews unlike this media channel, which came out with a shockingly negative review even before the noon show started on the release day. The senior producer also expressed his concern over this media house panning two debut heroes (Naga Anvesh and Karthick Raju) and requested the audiences not to trust this media house and to watch the film only by listening to those who have watched it already.
