Thanks to the special press show of Jyothika's comeback film 36 Vayadhinile(36 Vayathinile), the movie has already garnered some positive reviews from the experts ahead of its worldwide release tomorrow.

The movie which has an impressive run time of 1 hour and 55 minutes is all set to be released in 250 screens in Tamil Nadu alone.

Few lucky ones who have seen the movie are apparently excited. Not only are they sharing their thoughts about the movie, but a few have started to quote some of the dialogues from the movie as well.

Johnson PRO had shared this particular dialogue on his social networking page, it goes, "a daughter definitely needs her mother on her journey from 13-18 years of age. I am sure you would be a good father, but you definitely cannot be a good mother".

With many claiming that they cannot wait to catch the gorgeous looking actress on screen after 8 long years, there are little doubts about the movie's success as far as the box office collections are concerned.

But what about its quality? Did 36 Vayadhinile manage to impress some of the best critics known within the Kollywood circle? If yes, to what degree?

This one dialogue from the movie is enough to tell you what the movie is all about. “A daughter definitely needs her mother on her journey from 13-18 years of age. I am sure you would be a good father, but you definitely cannot be a good mother”. Vasanthi tells her husband in one of the confrontational situations.

Story:

Vasanthi sacrifices her dreams to become a housewife and a mother to her 13-year old daughter Mithila (played by Amritha). Her husband Tamilselvan (played by Rahman) has dreams to settle abroad and plans to immigrate to Ireland. But his wife Vasanthi cannot go with him because several companies in Ireland have denied her work permit due to her overage. She is 36.

One day, she gets a chance to meet the President of India and she falls unconscious at the meeting. The media reports it and she instantly becomes the butt of a joke on social network which tarnish her image completely. On the other hand, her husband instead of standing by her takes off after his dreams. Of course he takes their daughter along with him leaving Vasanthi alone to cry over her fate.

Her old classmate Susan David (played by Abhirami), now a top businesswoman, comforts Vasanthi and reminds her of how she has been a great influence to others while in college and then she goads Vasanthi to rediscover her old self and begin afresh in life. Realizing the futility of crying over spilt milk; Vasanthi rises up to lead the life afresh. How Vasanthi copes up with the situations in her life all alone chasing her dreams forms the rest of the story.

Artistes Performance:

Jyothika’s performance is amazing. 36 Vayathinile will go down into history as one of the best films for Jyothika. It was her career best performance. The way she carried the role in an effortless manner speaks a lot about her amazing acting talents. Almost all the critics hailed her performance. Jyothika has indeed given a critically acclaimed performance. Rahman in his supporting role has done his best as Jo’s husband.

Plus Points:

The screenplay, the dialogues and the direction of Roshan Andrrews is simply brilliant. The film makes you sit all through the 1hr and 55 minutes, engaging your attention. Music by Santosh Narayanan is good. Vaadi Raasathi and Pogiren songs make a good listening while the background score perfectly gelled with the storyline.

Minus Points:

Second half is somewhat dragging, making you feel you are watching a documentary.

Analysis:

The movie showcases the struggles of a woman in a male dominated society. How a woman, deserted by her husband and a 13-year old daughter, realizes her dream and proves her real worth to the family and society is all about 36 Vayadhinile.

Verdict:

A must watch movie, especially for every family
