Thala Ajith is busy in the shooting of his forthcoming film, fondly called as ‘Thala 56’ by his fans. If the ongoing buzz is to be believed, Ajith will be seen playing the role of a taxi driver in this movie.

Ajith will sport his salt and pepper look for this movie. Recently, a picture featuring Ajith and Lakshmi Menon created huge buzz on the internet and it went viral on the social media platforms.

Actress Shruti Haasan plays the love interest of Ajith in this film. Thala 56 is touted to be a family entertainer, Siruthai Siva of Veeram fame is directing, and AM Rathnam is producing it.

We heard that the makers of this movie are planning to release the film on Diwali, 2015. Actor Kabir Duhan Singh has been roped in to play the villain role. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music.
