Legendary actor Kamal Haasan and 'Uttam Villain' Unit interacted with Telugu Media at Park Hyatt hotel on Monday as part of the promotions.

When quizzed about the Hindu Organisations demanding a ban on the movie, Kamal Haasan shot back, "Am I a fool to make a film which hurts the sentiments of 75% of Population (Hindus) in the country?".

He then added, "Those who are opposing 'Uttam Villain' are minority. Even we film actors are minority just like muslims or christians".

Kamal Haasan stated classical dances performed by Group Dancers in 'Uttam Villain' are exceptional and on par with Hollywood Standards. He objected terming 'Uttam Villain' as an art film and clarified - 'The moment we sell a ticket, any film becomes commercial. No one wishes to make a film which isn't commercially viable'.
