If there is anything that is going rampant on social media since the last couple of days, it is nothing but the controversial My Choice video on women empowerment. Directed by Bollywood director Homi Adajainia and produced by the popular fashion magazine Vogue, the video features Deepika Padukone's voiceover, which has invited a huge public fury not just from males but even females.

The video discussed several issues regarding the free will and thinking of today's women in India. However, certain points of view on aborting a baby and sex outside the marriage etc are not going down well with the public and many people have started campaigning against the video. However, My Choice video has attracted sympathy from none other than our very own Manchu Lakshmi.

Expressing her solidarity with the video and the issues addressed in it, the Manchu firebrand girl said, 'how fabulous is this video. I concur to these exact sentiments. Great job @VOGUEIndia. Respect #MyChoice' (sic). While the daring lady's boldness has stunned many, few are wondering at the broadmindedness of Lakshmi and her American upbringing. Well, this fearless Lakshmi is a class apart indeed.
