A song of Aakash Puri’s debut movie as hero,’Andhra Pori’, was launched on Thursday at Radio Mirchi in Hyderabad.

Puri Jagannadh, who attended the event as chief guest, launched the song. Director Raj Madiraju, Aakash Puri, cinematographer Praveen Vanamali, Mahesh Chadalavada etc attended the event. Dr.Josyabhatla is the music director of this film and Ramesh Prasad is producing it under Prasad Productions banner.

Puri said, “When director Raj Madiraju narrated this story, I liked it very much. It is a teenage love story. I like ‘Seethakoka Chiluka’ movie very much and ‘Andhra Pori’ is such a love story. I am very happy that Raj Madiraju is introducing my son with this film. The audio is releasing through Aditya Music. I launched the ‘Detthadi song now, which is one of my favourites in this album along with the title song. Suddala Ashok Tej penned the lyrics for this song. I hope ‘Andhra Pori’ will be a big hit'”.

Raj Madiraju said, “I thank Puri Jagannadh sir for giving me Aakash and also for launching the first song. So much happened in between. Puri sir gave me a very good confidence that we can make a mass entertainer with a good teenage love story. Aakash Puri is a very obedient and lovely boy.I hope this film will be successful. I thank everyone who supported us”.

Aakash said, “I thank director Raj Madiraju and Ramesh Prasad sir for giving me opportunity to act in this film. I also thank my dad for everything. We launched the Detthadi song today and it is a wonderful song. Josyabhatla gave very good tunes”.

Ulka Gupta is the lead actress in this movie. Poornima, Eeshwari Rao, Aravind Krishna, Srimukhi, Uttej, Abhinaya, Sri Teja etc form the cast.
