Enakkul Oruvan is the official remake of a Kannada movie. Being a psychological thriller, it is important that the movie is conveyed in a convincing manner. Has Siddharth's Enakkul Oruvan managed to do that? What does the movie has to offer? Continue to read our review to unlock the answers.

Story:

Siddharth is a star who suffers from insomnia(sleeplessness). His other problem or fascination should we say is Deepa Sannidhi who plays his love interest. Deepa is an aspiring actress and wants to make it big someday.

Siddharth on the other hand wants to lead a very simple life and always dreams of wooing his lady love as an ordinary person. On a sleepless night, he comes in contact with a drug dealer and is given a few tablets by the dealer. Tablets which would change his life forever.

The drug dealer promises him that the pills would not only gift him some sleep but would also help him to realize his dreams through dreams. Confusing? Check out Enakkul Oruvan in theatres for clarification.

Performances:

Siddharth as an actor has come a long way and has dished out an unbelievable performance in Enakkul Oruvan. If Kaaviya Thalaivan was one extreme in his career, then Enakkul Oruvan is definitely another.

Newcomer Deepa Sannidhi is convincing enough and one might feel that her talent would be wasted in Tamil cinema if not properly used.

Technicalities:

Enakkul Oruvan needs to be a technically sound movie if it has to make an impact among the audience and what a coincidence? It is technically good with a great production value.

Screenplay plays a major role in any movie and more so in Enakkul Oruvan. A complicated screenplay is neatly pulled off and yet it succeeds in confusing the general audience in parts. But that's where the film demands your complete concentration and keeps you hooked throughout.

Santhosh Narayanan's background score is fresh and suits well to almost all the scenes effortlessly. Gopi Amarnath's camera work is a big plus and also plays an important role. Special mention goes to Leo John Paul whose editing makes this an interesting watch. Enakkul Oruvan could've easily been termed as a chaotic film if not for Leo's clever editing.

Final Word:
Enakkul Oruvan is a brav
