While Bigg Boss lovers count hours to the grand finale of the show tonight, Twitter, Facebook and other online forums are already abuzz with Gautam Gulati bagging maximum votes.

Twitter handles BiggBossNews and BiggBossLiveNews declared Gautam Gulati as the winner of the eight season of the much talked about celebrity reality show, late Friday night.

Gautam has been the favourite of viewers since the beginning of the show. He has a massive fan following on social media as compared to other finalists. Gautam Gulati's fan club, PR handles and Bigg Boss fans on Twitter have trended the TV actor almost every day in the last one month and if his popularity on social media is any criteria then he is a definite winner.

Karishma Tanna is second runner up with Preetam Singh on the third spot. The winner will be officially declared tonight on the grand finale.

As per our sources, Gautam was leading in the vote count leaving the rest four - Karishma Tanna, Preetam Singh, Dimpy Ganguly, Ali Quli Mirza far behind. However, the final result is still under wraps. The trophy could go to any one.

The top two winners (on Twitter) Gautam and Karishma have been the two most controversial contestants of the current season. Controversial fights, romance, drama they both had a sort of parallel lives in the show.

First, the "Bigg Boss" house will turn into a salon to style the finalists. Actress-producer Malaika Arora Khan has also been roped in to increase the temperature with her sizzling performance. The finalists will also join her.

Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha will also interact with the contestants of the Bigg Boss 8 extended series.

As the show inches closer to its finale with the top five contestants - Karishma Tanna, Gautam Gulati, Pritam Singh, Dimpy and Ali Quli Mirza - a lot of special treats and grilling sessions are planned for the contestants.
