Mahesh Babu is known to be a simple and a shy person, its rare to see him at public gatherings. However, thanks to Memu Saitham, we saw Samantha catching up with Super Star Mahesh and top director Trivikram.

When Samantha asked why he started doing charity for children, he answered it was his son Gautam who inspired him to take up this cause.

Mahesh said that he with his wife Namrata are doing their little bit to help ailing and the underprivileged children. They are also brand ambassadors of a Hyderabad-based NGO that provides medical aid to critically ill children.

Mahesh said, "My kids are my world, my son Gautam was a premie (born one and half months pre-mature). He said that as a father he spent a lot of anxious moments and believed that the money he has took away lot of their anxiousness and from this, the thought to do my bit to poor children has come."
