Saif Ali Khan‘s daughter Sara Ali Khan has been in the news since quite some time now. Not just because of her stunning appearances but also for her much-coveted Bollywood debut. We have been hearing a lot of things about her Bollywood debut, however nothing was confirmed till now. There had been rumours doing the rounds that Sara was going to make her big Bollywood debut alongside  Tiger ShroffinStudent of the Year 2 or alongside Ishaan Khattar in The Fault in our Starsremake. Later came the news that she was approached by Anil Sharma to act opposite his son, Utkarsh, in Genius. Buzz was also strong that Karan Johar and Dharma wanted her to join a particular talent management agency but apparently mother Amrita Singh did not agree and hence, Sara had to walk out of both the films.The latest we are getting to hear is that Sara could make her debut with Zoya Akhtar‘s next opposite Ranveer Singh! Now this is some big news, isn’t it? According to a report in a tabloid, the film is going to be called Gully Boy, which will be a coming-of-age film inspired by two real-life rappers from Mumbai’s chawls,Rapper Divine and Rapper Naezy. Ranveer Singh will play one of the rappers in the film. Zoya has been prepping for the film since a while now.

“Both the producers, Farhan (Akhtar) and Ritesh (Sidhwani), along with Zoya, have been in talks with Sara for a while now and they are almost in the final stages of discussion.Gully Boys could well be her launching pad,“ a source informed the tabloid.

The report further suggests that Zoya Akhtar and her script writer Reema Kagti have been closely following the journey of the so-called politically incorrect rappers all across the nations. The ladies have been hanging out a lot with Rapper Divine and Rapper Naezy lately to get insights into their lives for the musical drama.

For those who don’t know, these two rappers are fairly established in Mumbai. Based in Mumbai, most of their work is dedicated to the maximum city. The first song of Rapper Divine aka Vivian Fernandes was Yeh Mera Bombay, which was a tribute to aamchi Mumbai. It was followed by Meri Gully Main which gave an insight into Mumbai’s street life. The film’s name seems to have been inspired by this very song. The next was Jungli Sher which narrates his struggles. Rapper Naezy’s debut track was Aafat which talks about his ‘thug life’.
