Story:

Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra's "Toofan" telugu movie released today. It's an action film directed by Apoorva Lakhia, shot concurrently in Hindi and Telugu. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Tollywood actor Ram Charan within the lead role together with Priyanka Chopra.

Visiting the storyline from the movie ACP Vijay Khanna is definitely an honest and aggressive cop. He is another very angry youthful guy. His upright character is compensated having a record quantity of transfers, but Vijay never changes his attitude. After a problem with a few ruling party people in Hyderabad, he’s moved to Mumbai. Vijay is assigned using the analysis from the violent murder of the deputy collector. He soon understands that the effective oil mafia is behind the crime.

An NRI named Mala (Priyanka Chopra) may be the only witness and Vijay seeks her help. Because the analysis increases, Vijay understands the loaded Rudra Pratap Teja (Prakash Raj) is the guy behind the whole criminal operation.As Vijay inches nearer to the reality, Teja uses all his money and influence to obtain Vijay suspended. A defiant and angry Vijay vows to eliminate Teja and the empire. What happens next? For the complete story of the movie you must watch the movie on big screen...

Performances:

After watching epic performance of Superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Zanjeer, it hard it reimagine some other doing the same job. But must say Ram Charan has brought his acting experience and given a decent job.

Priyanaka Chopra is good in her looks and performed well in her limited role. Though Srihari started in a routine mode his performance and characterization improved as the movie progressed. But he failed to even reach the mark of veteran Pran’s character in Zanjeer.

Prakash Raj continued his conventional villain-ism with Teja’s character. Tanikella Bharini is good in his role. Mahi Gill is better in the songs than scenes, she munificently exposed her beauty.

Technical Aspects:

Apoorva Lakhia remaking Zanjeer keeping its essence was not an easy job, it was even tough job to select cast to impress an immortal performances. The story by Salim Javed appears to be very niggling. But thrilling narration could have made this story interesting is missing in this film.

There could be any number of reasons for sweeping this film off, and the slow paced manner in which the story unfolds, does play a major
discouragement. Songs with the manner in which they have been integrated into the tale, simply should not be there. There is the script too that is a depressant, and it has very few heart pumping moments.

The film is relatively short and has a running time of just more than two hours, and a further ten minutes could easily be trimmed out, that could have made it much crisper. Director should have taken extra care on music of this film, even background score of the film is very loud. Cinematography by Gururaj R. Jois is middling. Production values of Mahi’s Entertainment, Flying Turtle are grand.

Analysis:

Coming to the analysis of the movie Mega power star Ram Charan has shipped energy packed performance. He looks good like a cop and that he has squeeze into the smoothness of ACP Vijay Khanna quite effortlessly. This movie is a very good debut vehicle for Charan’s Bollywood career. Priyanka Chopra is alright. She looks pretty hot within the ‘Mumbai Ke Hero’ and ‘Pinky’ tunes.

Usually telugu audience expect a powerful introduction for any mass following hero. But director apoorva broke the rule and failed to impress the audience with a very plain protagonist entrance. His screen play and story narration were just like a serial. He might have forgotten adding salt and spice in his food. And that is why it lost its yumminess.

 Coming to the characters, the role of sharekhan played by srihari is the most powerful character in the film. It would be much more better if srihari plays the role of protagonist. Dialogues between prakash raj and ram charan were damn good. A few laughing tidbits in between gave some relaxation to the viewers. Priyanka chopra's bubbly role is impressive.

Final Word: Overall Thoofan movie is paisa-vasool entertainer,Ram Charan has given wonderful performance here. There is no comparison to the Zanjeer here.It is good treat for Mega fans this weekend.
