Beverly Hills police are investigating the death of a man found in an elevator shaft Thursday night.

The incident occurred at about 8:50 p.m. at an apartment building in the 400 block of South Rexford Drive in Beverly Hills.

Officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the elevator company were on scene.

No other details were immediately available.
