AAP attacks Yogendra Yadav, Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan
The rift in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is widening with the party now accusing senior leaders Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan and Shanti Bhushan of working towards party's defeat in the recent Delhi Assembly elections.
"During Delhi elections, three senior AAP leaders were working towards our defeat- Yogendra Yadav, Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan," AAP said in a statement.
Earlier, in the National Executive meeting held on March 4, Yogendra Yadav and Prasahnt Bhushan were shunted out of the party's Political Affairs Committe.
"Prashant Bhushan and Shanti Bhushan supported the claims made by AVAM against AAP. Yogendra Yadav was planting stories against Kejriwal and AAP in national dailies, was speaking against party off the record to journalists," AAP said.
"We have decided to expose Yadav and Bhushan to the entire world," the statement added.
AAP leader Ashutosh said, "It was decided in the NAC that no one will speak other then authorised speaker but Yogendra Yadav gave interview to some news channels which is clear violation and which led to some confusion that is why party decided to put facts forward."
