Leader of the Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy described the AP budget as a mere jugglery of numbers, where a lot is sought to be hidden.
Earlier, Finance Minister Yanamla Ramakrishnudu presented the first full budget of the state after the bifurcation in the Assembly.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly lobby, YS Jagan said the budget is an exercise in number jugglery, it is full of falsehoods.
"Government is trying to hide more than it wants to reveal. It is a massive cover up. There are no allocations worth mentioning, Zero-based budget was a failure and Chandrababu Naidu tried it in the past too," he said.
He slammed the Government for the non mention of DWCRA loans. " AP budget did not specify allocations for crop loans, meager allocations for DWCRA loan waiver," he added.
The YSRCP chief further said that he would speak on the budget in the AP Assembly on March 16.
