Bike racing during night has become a passion for the youth in Tirumala. A woman was severely injured after a bike racer  hit her when crossing the road. She was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Locals complain that the bike racing has become a routine among the youth. The police and the higher authorities are least bothered of the issue, though complaints are filed in police stations numerous times, says locals.
