Sulking TDP MLA from Kukatpally in the city, M Krishna Rao, on Thursday made a vain attempt to meet party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday to explain why he is keeping away from party affairs. Naidu, however, did not give him appointment and asked him to meet him on Friday.

Rao, who is unhappy with TTDP leaders for not involving him in party activities, tried to meet Naidu at a Yoga programme organised here for party leaders.

Krishna Rao said that he was ready to join the TRS if the government agreed to bring 26 castes in the BC category.
