1,387 students score 10 GPA in Telangana

Students of Sri Chaitanya, Narayana, Brilliant Grammar High School and SR Digi School bagged a chunk of the perfect 10 GPAs scored in the first Telangana state SSC Class X exams this year.

As many as 158 students of Sri Chaitanya Schools scored a perfect 10 GPA, while 448 students scored 9.8 GPA and a total of 1,297 Sri Chaitanya students scored GPAs above 9.5. Sri Chaitanya’s academic director Seema said this was because of the school’s “techno syllabus” that involved components from state, CBSE and ICSE syllabi. Founder chairman Dr B.S. Rao said Sri Chaitanya has always stood first in all competitive exams.

Students of the Narayana Group of Schools also scored big in the SSC exams with 112 students grabbing a perfect 10 GPA, while 301 students scored in excess of 9.8. Eleven of the Narayana Group’s schools recorded 100 per cent pass percentage. Managing director Dr P. Sindhura Narayana said the results were possible because of the strong emphasis on scientific planning, innovative teaching, dynamic and integrated curriculum and the efforts of the faculty.

A total of 1,387 students in TS scored 10 GPA in the first SSC results announced on Sunday. As many as 27 out of them are from Brilliant Grammar High School. Almost 85 per cent of all the students scored more than 9 GPA. Chairman Kasireddy Naryan Reddy credited the team work of students, teachers and parents in achieving these results. Out of 2,533 students from Brilliant Grammar High School who appeared for the SSC exams, 98 per cent passed the examination setting a record percentage of results, the school said.

Meanwhile, 26 students from another top-ranking school, SR Digi School, scored 10 GPA. SR Digi School management congratulated the students and said the results were possible only due to the hard work of the faculty and students.
