The Kothavalasa police on Friday arrested a fake religious preacher who exploited women by promising them a place in heaven if they have sex with him.

The preacher, identified as Doddi Dayasagar, has been running a Jewish Garden of Eden religious congregation in Kothavalasa. He has has about 200 members, who regularly pray at the religious congregation. Dayasagar was sexually exploiting women by promising them spectacular after life. One such duped women lodged a complaint against the pastor and the police raided his swank -four-storeyed premises.

However, the inmates tried initially to prevent the police, but the latter forced their way in and conducted raids on the premises. Enquiries are being made as to whether the organisation received any foreign funding.
