The SDGs will also enable improved sanitary conditions and contribute to better health for all.

Rao stated that his call for hundred per cent toilets was one of the strategies to achieve set goals. He said involvement of the Employment Guarantee Scheme workers to achieve SDGs would also ensure more work and money to them and contribute to their prosperity.

To be very symbolic, 15 children from different districts drawn from sections like tribals, dalits, orphans and child heading a family are being involved in spreading the SDG campaign.

The State-level programme is being organised by Wada Na Todo Abhiyan (WNTA), SEEDS, DBRC, LAMP, World Vision, PARA, SEESS, DBSU and representatives of the organisations. Their representatives D. Roshan Kumar, Anil Kumar, Solomon Paul, Krishna, James Watt, Karimoon and Sampathamma participated.
