In the 2009 general elections, the Telugu Desam Party roped in Young Tiger NTR for election campaign and utilized his craze among the masses to the fullest. Even NTR went all out in his support to TDP and campaigned extensively across Andhra Pradesh. However, TDP lost the contest to YSR's charisma and an inevitable void has been prevailing between NTR and the TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu ever since.

Recently, Chandrababu's son Nara Lokesh became father to a baby boy. On this memorable occasion, NTR met Lokesh and Brahmani along with his wife Pranathi and they all spent some jovial time together. Soon after their meeting, film and political circles went abuzz about NTR's efforts to revive his ties with the Nara family and thus with TDP. However, sources close to NTR scorned off the rumours and stated that it was only a pleasant meeting between both the families to celebrate the newborn's arrival.

Ever since the meeting took place, fans of both the families have been hoping that the meeting will put an end to all the speculations about the differences between NTR and TDP. It will indeed be a memorable sight to see NTR joining forces with Chandrababu and his uncle Balakrishna, which will again give a new energy to the TDP cadre across both the Telugu states.
