Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy temple at Avanigadda main center has collapsed creating sensation in the town. KEB canal digging up and Delta moderninsation works are said to be the cause of this development. The local residents are demanding that action should be taken against those officials responsible for the incident.

They are also demanding to re-construction of the temple and restoration of the values and traditions of the temple. The officials are inspecting the site as people have staged a 'Raastha Roko'.
