A drunken lady and her female accomplice have been absconding ever since they created havoc and mowed down an ice cream hawker and two bikers on the Road No.12 in Jubilee Hills last night. The woman who was driving the car in an inebriated condition apparently lost her control when she tried to overtake a car.

According to the onlookers, both the women were intoxicated and quickly absconded from the accident spot after ramming into the poor bikers and the ice cream hawker, whose condition is said to be critical. The injured have been immediately rushed to Apollo Hospitals and the police have filed the case.

Cops have seized the car bearing the number AP 09 CQ 5544 and preliminary investigation revealed that the car has been registered under the name of leading pharmaceutical giant, Reddy's Labs. Even though the traffic police have been taking the drunken driving cases stringently, the civilians still seem to be not bothered to follow basic traffic principles.
