Hyderabad: Even as a clamour for the arrest of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the Revanth Reddy's cash for vote scam is growing louder, Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender has demanded the disqualification of Revanth Reddy as MLA.

Addressing a press conference along with his ministerial colleagues Jagadessh Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao, Rajender said here today there is an emergent need to cancel the assembly membership of Revanth Reddy.

Revanth can not continue as MLA as he tried to undermine democracy, Rajendar has stated.

Calling the TDP a party of political brokers, Rajender said that Chandrababu has abdicated the administration in AP and is meddling in Telangana affairs.

AP people gave power to Chandrababu thinking that he has transformed himself for good but people have now realised there was no change in him, Rajender remarked.

Ministers Juapally and Jagadeesh Reddy also came down heavily on Chandrababu for trying to bribe MLAs seeking cross voting in the MLC polls.

"Chandrababu is the main accused in the case. He should be booked under the provisions of the laws governing corruption," they demanded.
