Telangana  chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao has identified 40 places in Hyderabad for constructing sky scrapers to turn the city into an international attraction.

Apart from these sky scrapers, world's tallest tower will come up near Sanjeevaiah Park abutting Necklace Road. The sky scrapers would be built taking into consideration all environmental concerns and according to Supreme Court guidelines.

KCR held a lengthy meeting with chief secretary Rajiv Sharma, his Principle Secretary Narsing Rao and other top officials over the issue and asked them to prepare guidelines and work out the details for the construction of the tallest tower and other sky scrapers.

The locations identified for constructing the rows of sky scrapers by KCR are located at Buddha Bhavan, Ranigung bus depot, lower tank bunk road, Kundanbagh, Patigadda, Sailing club, Youth hostel, Raghav Sadan, Nursing college, Dilkusha Guest house, Green lands, New MLA quarters, Snow World, Electricity Bhavan and other places.

KCR has also released Rs.100 Cr for cleaning Hussainsagar and constructing Nalas to divert pollutants from the lake. He also asked officials to work on plans to construct a lake at Indira Park for the immersion of Ganesh idols for Vinayak Chaviti festival.
