HYDERABAD: City recorded five new positive swine flu cases from several corporate hospitals on Friday, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the last eight days to 41 cases.
The latest positive cases released by Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) include a two-year-old girl from Gachibowli, a 31-year-old female from Somajiguda, a 37-year-old female from Kukatpally, a 35-year-old from Jubilee Hills and a 53-year-old female from Prakasam from Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, who was detected with H1N1, was discharged from a city-based corporate hospital on Friday noon after four days of treatment.
