By providing government jobs to as many as 500 artists, CM KCR has fulfilled the wishes of Telangana Dhoom Dham Artistes Association. As of now, around 530 artists were absorbed into government service and few more are in the pipeline. At the time of 2014 elections, KCR has made a promise of utilizing the services of writers and artists of Telangana to rebuild the state and with this jobs allotment, he has kept his promise!

Speaking on the ocassion, association's president Oddenna Yadav has thanked the Telangana government for sticking to the promises that they've made in the past. "It is nice to see the government recognizing the services of hundreds of artistes who have tried their best to enlighten the public during the time of agitation," said Yadav.

Impressed with the work of artistes, Chief Minister KCR has assured the issuance of health insurance cards along with the new jobs. He even clarified that the decision regarding the working days and timings of artistes would be taken very soon and also said that their accommodation would be taken care by government. "You should strive for a better society and keep up the good work. I am 60 years old and my dream of Telangana was achieved with the help of many people like you. You should keep dancing, writing and singing to bring more awareness and continue doing the same irrespective of my presence," said KCR at the event!
