Aam Aadmi Party leader Somnath Bharti on Wednesday targeted the TRS government in Telangana, saying it had failed to deliver on its election promises.
Its scheme to give three acres of land to every Dalit family was not being implemented properly, he said. For the past one year, the universities in the state were almost defunct as the government had not appointed the vice chancellors, he said.
Bharti, who is AAP's in-charge for southern states, was here to attend a party function. The TRS government was being controlled by only one family, he said.
"Mission Kakatiya programme only benefited the MLAs and was used to lure away MLAs from other parties," Bharti said, adding that the recent cash-for-vote scam has exposed both TRS and TDP.
Bharti, who is an MLA, was recently in news after his wife filed a complaint of domestic violence against him.
