Hyderabad: Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao said that AP was a third class state and was no match for Telangana. “Telangana is growing into a No. 1 state and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka,
Kerala and other top states in the country,” he added. “We have 40.6 per cent urbanisation while AP has 22.5 per cent. Our GDP is above the national average. I gave 43 per cent fitment to employees and AP too copied it and landed in trouble. While Telangana’s burden is Rs 6,500 crore, AP has to shell out Rs 10,500 crore,” he said.
