Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna expressed his views on the Budget allocations to the Andhra pradesh state. Speaking to the reporters, the MLA stated that the Central BJP government has allotted Rs. 100 crore for the Polavaram project while the AP government has requested for Rs. 1600 Crore for the completion of the project. The Government should clarify how the Polavaram project would be constructed with Rs. 100 crore, asked Balakrishna.

Andhra pradesh state is a newly formed state and the centre should have made considerable allotments in the budget. The special status to the AP state also is kept pending by the central government, added Balakrishna.

The Andhra pradesh public will not spare any government, if their self respect is not honoured. The central government's allottments to the AP state are not satisfactory in the Union Budget, said Balakrishna.

Late NTR always strived for the self pride of the Andhra pradesh public, said Balakrishna.
