Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna complains Union Budget 2015 has let down the people of AP who voted for the TDP-BJP Combine in the last elections. However, He is hopeful that Centre will accord Special Status and sanction proper funds soon after State Government brings the grievances to its notice.

The actor-turned-politician pointed out Anantapur is only next to Rajasthan in the list of most drought-effected areas in our country.  He claimed NTR laid the foundation stone for Handrineva and lucky enough to complete the project in TDP regime.

Reiterating that Handrineva is the dream of his father late NT Rama Rao, Balakrishna promised to complete the 2nd Phase of the Irrigation Project at the earliest to address the water woes of Anantapur, Kurnool and Chittor. On Tuesday, He will foresee the development programs in Anantapur district along with other local legislators.
