With the open war between TDP and TRS escalated, Telangana TDP leaders and MLAs have stepped in to initiate a counter attack against the TRS government. Leveling allegations that TRS has tried all ways to rope in them into their party, TDP MLAs Vivek Goud and Rajender Reddy lodged complaints against TRS government to the Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau on Wednesday.
'TRS leaders have resorted to all sorts of methods to woo us to switch party. In fact, several middlemen have been sent to us regarding the negotiations. When we resisted and protested, they are threatening us with extreme consequences. A lot of money has been offered to ditch TDP,' TDP MLAs Vivek Goud and Rajender Reddy were reportedly mentioned the aforementioned statement in their complaint.
Taking the names directly, TDP MLA Rajender Reddy alleged that Harish Rao, KT Rama Rao, have offered him money and Corporation Commissioner post if we jump the party. 'Harish Rao, KTR have offered me Corporation Commissioner post several times and even offered huge sum of money,' said Rajender Reddy. They asked ACB to immediately book cases against TRS leaders.
Rajender Reddy and Vivek Goud further alleged that TRS government stopped issuing funds to their constituencies for denying their offers to switch-over party.
