Hyderabad: Springing a surprise, Andhra Pradesh Congress leaders on Monday called on Governor ESL Narasimhan and questioned his silence on the blunt violation of AP Reorganisation Act by the Telangana Government.

An AP Congress delegation , consisting of senior leaders Botsa Satyanarayana, Chiranjeevi, Pallam Raju and PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy, has submitted a report to Narasimhan on the drought situation and TDP Government's failures.

Making use of the opportunity, the Congress delegation has expressed its anger towards him for being silent on violations of the AP Reorganisation Act by Telangana government.

Of all the Congress leaders, Botsa Satyanarayana was the most vociferous in questioning the Governor.

"Being Governor for both states, you have kept silent when TS has imposed entry tax on AP vehicles with Hyderabad being capital city for AP and TS for ten years. You are working in favour of Telangana state only, " Botsa told him expressing his dismay at the situation in AP.

To this , Narasimhan reacted saying that High Court is to deliver its orders on the entry tax tomorrow.

However, the Congress leaders again mentioned the issues of fees reimbursement and EAMCET saying AP students suffered a lot because of the violation by TS Government and his approval of TS actions.

"You are the custodian for protecting the interests of both states. If no no body goes to court, will you keep quiet? " Botsa asked him.

Reports said that the Governor was caught unawares at the sudden verbal attack unleashed by the AP Congress delegation making him responsible for the pitiable condition of AP.
