Capital region as 14th District in AP
AP has remains with 13 districts after the division of the state consist 3 Northern Andhra districts, 4 Rayalaseema districts and 6 Coastal Andhra districts. There are rumors that spread that numerologists suggest that 13 digit is not correct for AP. Gossips further increased on new district as Rampachodvaram as head quarters after the inclusion of 7 mandals from Telangana into AP.
There is an assumption that AP capital will be located in between Krishna and Guntur districts. CBN has decided to put the capital across the Krishna River but entirely in Guntur district. 29 villages are selected as Capital region in Tadikonda and Mangalagiri Assembly Segments. Though the Capital is in Guntur district but district head quarters is far away to the Capital.
Now the Government is in thought of creating another district by including the capital region. As per AP Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas, Chief Minister is preparing plans to create new district with the inclusion of all villages in and around Capital. Government has planned to create new district for better governance.
