Union government has imposed Governor's rule in Jammu and Kashmir on today, accepting the J&K Governor N.N. Vohra's recommendations. Jammu and Kashmir went to polls along with Jharkhand had given mixed results to parties. The results PDP (28 seats), BJP (25 seats) National Conference (15) and Congress (12) no majority to any party in the state had placed political parties in confusion.

BJP strong pitch on its conditional support to PDP and NC biased support had drawn no conclusion.  Considering latest security updates along the border governor requested former CM Omar Abdullah to continue as care taker. But Omar had rejected this request paved way for governor rule. Soon after Omar rejection  N.N. Vohra's had recommended governor rule in the state to MHO. union minister Rajnath had approved this today afternoon.
