Hyderabad: In a wild reaction to the suggestion of the YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy that Government should have chosen a forest area for the construction of the capital city, Chief Minister Chandrababu said in the assembly today such places are only useful for construction of mental hospitals.
Giving a lengthy speech on the motion of thanks to Governor ESL Narasimhan's address, Chandrababu said no government would build capital city at forest location or in a place having no facilities.
He said farmers had given their lands voluntarily for Capital city and nowhere force has been used among the farmers.
Saying that he would ever be indebted to the farmers who had sacrificed their lands for Capital, he said he would extend all other possible help to them besides implementing the land pooling package.
