publiceye.in,CM Chandrababu launches Portal 'publiceye.in
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday launched ‘publiceye.in’, an online grievance portal designed by three B Tech students from Guntur district.
According to the State government, Publiceye.in had been designed on the lines of popular social media concept of posting and sharing content. Chat option, similar to Facebook chat, has also been incorporated in it. On this website, one can also attach evidence/proofs while posting their complaints/issues.
The online portal is an open platform where users can identify issues raised by people in their locality. This will enable collective participation of locals to address a common issue. Users can post their grievances on issues ranging from electricity to agriculture, social security, sewage, water supply, dowry, child labour and corruption.
“Publiceye.in is the brainchild of Alapati Krishna Lavanya Kumar, Guntur Manohar and Peesapati Harish. The portal provides a platform for people to report, seek or suggest solutions to social issues,” a statement by the AP CMO said.
It further added that Publiceye.in enables the local administration to zero in/identify the issues using their pin-code. This medium can also be put to good use to create awareness among people on initiatives like Swachh Bharat. “Those who don’t have access to Internet can call on 08645 - 275348 to report their complaint,” the AP CMO said.
“Lauding the youngsters for their impeccable work, the Chief Minister reflected on the need for youngsters to come up with such innovative ideas to ease citizen services in the State,” it added.
